The original design included polished concrete flooring and an open ceiling however on inspection we discovered that the bathroom services above were far too noisy for an open office environment. To improve the acoustics, we installed the coffered ceiling, natural timber floorboards and lined the walls with Acoufelt. There were some budget constraints, so we redesigned some of the custom-made pieces of the fit-out and found alternative furniture options to reduce the overall costs with minimal impact to the overall aesthetics of the design.
