This fitout was designed by Elizabeth Bruce of Hughes Bruce. Rather than pitching a
standard fitout she took the challenge on and went for something completely out of the box. The clients were keen to express their point of difference and needed the office to represent this.
The client didn’t want anything to interrupt the views from the meeting rooms. Our challenge was to find a way to build standalone 'rooms' out of glass with no ceiling supports or posts apart from the door frames. We installed aluminium for the top and bottom plates, and left the corners frameless. To build this, weused temporary bracing for strength to ensure they didn’t collapse in on themselves whilst the glass was being set in.
