Demolition and Fit Out of Commercial Factory Kitchen in Marrickville. QVS was briefed to demolish existing facilities, walls and a concrete slab then fit out the building with a commercial factory kitchen, cold storage a new steel mezzanine and office offices. As the factory is used for food preparation, QVS was briefed on the requirements for all work to be in accordance with commercial premise, food preparation and refrigeration Standards, Codes and Guidelines.
Demolish existing facilities, including the following: remove walls and associated fittings to allow for a disabled toilet; create two new openings in existing concrete walls; removal of concrete slab to allow for insulation to the floors of blast chiller, cool rooms and Freezers. Commercial Fit Out including: install new plasterboard and glass walls for offices; install walls, ceilings and fittings for disabled toilet; make good floor and wall tiles in new disabled toilet; structural works for the new openings in concrete panels and for cool room chilled floors; supply and install new steel mezzanine, to structural engineers load requirements; reinstall existing kitchen unit; and then paint the new facilities.
