The client approached a few fit-out providers but she found they were not transparent with their costing or flexible in the design. QVS presented a tender that allowed the client to chop and change it to suit her vision and budget. We also worked with the client to get in favour with the strata managers to meet parking requirements that allowed us to proceed under a CDC rather than DA. Ceiling heights were limited due to the above Restaurant sewer pipes. QVS came up with an innovative solution to reduce the depth of the traps and thus maximise ceiling heights. Acoustic integrity in the consultation rooms was essential so we packed the walls and ceiling with insulation and lagged all the pipes to reduce the noise of flushing toilets above.
